Opportunities to have fun. Kids to be kids once again.
Volunteers Khaula and Haider from Project BluBird, an NGO based in Islamabad, working for a positive impact on needy communities, supported the Annual Sports Day event at Pehli Kiran School 5 (PK-5).The children were delighted to participate in the fun-filled activities on a bright sunny morning, at a public ground near their school campus. The kids competed in a range of rances for girls and boys, including the 50-meter sprint, relay race, egg and spoon race, sack race and an obstacle course! Awards were given to the top three winners in each category. The team spirit was on display throughout the event. Graced by the presence of parents and community members. In fact, parents enjoyed participating in a tug-of-war activity for them at the end! Pehli Kiran Schools considers a ‘whole child’ approach in its educational philosophy, and sports is one of the most important building blocks for children.Join us in becoming an ongoing source of hope and joy for these underprivileged children by donating funds to PKS.
