At the height of the Coronavirus crisis, we remained committed to the welfare and well-being of the communities we serve. With the help of our generous supporters, we were able to reach the most affected. A big thank you to our donors for helping us deliver food rations to our Pehli Kiran Schools children and their families, and protecting them through hygiene awareness and spraying disinfectants in these unserved communities.

We will continue to provide Food Ration to the most deserving. And we will keep spreading hygiene awareness among our students and communities.

Safe Schools Reopening

Support us to safely reopen schools following COVID safety protocols. We need to install handwashing stations, provide no-contact thermometers, sanitizers, clean water coolers, in all our schools, to ensure full safety measures.

Counter Learning Losses

PKS students do not have access to remote learning facilities. Home-based learning is also a barrier as parents themselves are not literate. Help us mitigate learning losses by supporting our innovative Seekho Seekhao Saathi Program (SSSP) - based on the concept of child-to-child learning. Also, help us improve the teaching-learning process by acquiring digital devices to enhance the blended learning approach.

Spread Hygiene Awareness

Thousands of families and children live with limited or no access to water and sanitation in congested urban slums. They are at the highest risk to COVID-19—support Pehli Kiran Schools (PKS), in spreading Hygiene Awareness among students and their families, and disinfecting the communities.

Provide Food Rations

During COVID-19 Lockdown, PKS provided food to daily wage earners. With your donations, we were able to respond to the hunger crisis created by the loss of livelihoods. Lowest-income families in Pakistan are still struggling to recover from the crisis. Support Pehli Kiran Schools (PKS) in providing emergency food rations to the most vulnerable children and families of these un-served slum communities.
