Amid the virus outbreak, PKS on-going hygienic awareness activities are assisting the communities living in Katchi-Abadis around Islamabad.
PKS teams have sprayed disinfectant liquid over congested slums where social distancing is impossible.
Disadvantaged and poor slum dwellers are likely to get most affected by the outcomes of the disease spread. Among eight communities that Pehli Kiran Schools serve, PK-8 and PK-4 communities sprayed sanitizing liquid.
PKS teams have been coordinating with the local government to disinfect the areas not covered yet. Sanitation is essential for stopping the virus. The disinfection efforts against coronavirus in slums are continued.
