Pehli Kiran Schools Safely Reopened After Six Months Lockdown

Pehli Kiran students are back in school after an over 6-month shutdown due to COVID-19.  Across all PKS campuses, school authorities and teachers are keeping students safe by strictly following COVID-19 safety protocols. All staff and students must wear a mask, have their temperature checked on arrival in the morning, frequently wash hands at designated washing areas, keep a safe distance from one another.  And, most importantly, continue learning!

During schools’ closure, PKS collaborated with Cities for Children to provide continuity of education through an innovative initiative, based on the child-to-child learning concept. The Seekho Sekhao Saathi Program helped children maintain their link with the school, aimed to help children focus on the smooth return to school for children. Also, an awareness campaign in PKS communities helped them on how to take preventive measures, such as wearing masks, washing hands, and keeping a safe distance.

Now PKS teachers are making sure to keep the learning environment safe for all.
